Despicable Me: “This world is crazy, and so am I!”

Okay, so I think we can all pretty much agree that the world is a crazy place to live — people are crazy, the food is crazy (meant in a positive way lol), the movies are crazy, the internet is crazy! The politics, technology, music, deaths, babies’ birth, it’s all crazy! So why shouldn’t I be crazy? I think it’s only right! Crazy does not mean disgraceful or despicable though. Thinking about this lead me to a new idea: I can be crazy without disrupting, changing, or otherwise hurting society. :) I was quite pleased with that realization! So can all of those of you who want to be (and are) crazy at least be sensible enough to be crazy in the good ways and not in the despicable ways? Yay! You said ‘Yes’! Now all of the world’s problems are solved!… wait, not really :P

Welcome to My Website…Be Inspired!

Hey there! You probably know my name by now but how many of you hate having a conversation with someone and 30 minutes later you’re like “what’s your name, by the way?”; I’m Ramon Williamson. People tell me I’m a nice guy, but I don’t make pretty speeches, I’m not the class clown, and I don’t have a million friends. But, I have a big heart and I’m easy to make conversation with. I originally started this blog to play around with it and it was literally dormant for a year-and-a-half. Then, on one of those inspirational days, I said to myself, “You know, this would look really good on a transcript.” So I decided to actually put some effort into making this blog nice. I’ve been journaling since 2008 and so that gave me some writing experience. Transcript? That brings up another point: I’m still in high school. Yep, I’m 16…and should I say that I’m homeschooled? Well, I just did. My goal in life is to be a producer and director and I’ve already written a few scripts. I can’t wait until I’m walking down that red carpet to receive my Academy Awards! Then I’ll look back at everyone who likes this post and be like “…and they helped me get here.” Hahaha :D Wouldn’t you love that? Jkjk lol I also have a small obsession with Mt. Everest – it’s a childhood dream of mine to climb it. Beware: another thing you need to know about me is that bunny-trails and I are good buddies (should be “bunnies” lol) – don’t hate me for it. :)

Okay, so now that you’ve gotten a bit on my personality, I want to hit my passions. You see, everyone wants to feel “the love”. I think that more people can feel that at one time through music more than through anything else. That’s why I love music. I play piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, I sing, and I play a wee bit of drums…there are lots of things I love to do. :) Hmm, let’s see. I love to meet new people :) Once, I was hanging out with my friends Jane and Julia, and we were bored so we just went around shaking random people’s hands and saying “(our names). Nice to meet you!” Most of them confused but you know what? It was awesome!; I love to travel. Although I have yet to travel out-of-country, my family and I have made many long road trips together within the USA; I’m a very active person (if you didn’t already guess) and I love working out and physical exercise: biking, hiking, climbing, swimming, camping, backpacking, playing soccer, etc.; I’m mildly health-conscious, and I love the outdoors and extreme adventure. I could talk about it for hours – ready for your lecture, kiddos? Hehehe jk, I’ll just say this: I’ll do anything outdoorsy – practically anything. I don’t want to get a call from ‘Billy’ saying “Hey man, I know it’s 110° but do you wanna come for a day-hike…this afternoon, of course?” (I am a good listener though) I would let ‘Billy’ finish before telling him “No thanks, Billy.” in a ‘quite frankly’ tone of voice. But seriously, if you need someone to talk to, feel free to hit me up.
Blogging is one of those things that you either do a lot (like working out or gardening) or pretty much don’t do at all (like painting your bedroom wall that new color). I, personally, am trying to get in the habit of documenting everyday things…another reason I have this blog. I encourage you to start a blog about your life. Write about anything: feelings, decisions, etc. When you look back on those crossroads you’ll learn things…what your good and bad choices were.
Speaking of choices, please also choose to follow me on this new blog. I hope that you like it. If you want, leave a comment telling me what you think.  I’d appreciate the feedback.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has helped me become the person I am today…Everyone. First to my mom for getting behind all my projects and raising me to be proactive and to take charge; to my dad for all your wisdom and your faith in me – you motivate me; to my siblings for keeping both the fights and the fun real; to Mr. Nei (Caleb) for all the musical and life values you taught me – you’ll always be my musical hero;  to Justin (Rizzo) for making me a better musician and a stronger Christian; to Caleb (Culver) for patiently teaching me the “IHOP way” – you rule hard, Dawg!; to Jane and Julia for your friendship and faith – you both rock!; to the Hesters for your friendship to me – you guys are the best; to Josh (Willson) – keeping it real since CEC, Bro!; to Nathan (Miller) for being my true Bro – love you, man!; and to Bri (Robinson) for your love and companionship in my darkest days – the Jesus Club is VIP and awesome!; I love you all! Keep being awesome like you all always are! <3 And you the reader! Thanks for stopping by. Look around and then have a great day!!
